New Production Building with Administration Wing for a Mechanical Engineering Company

Operations building as a 3-bay production hall, whereby one hall was built higher to accommodate a crane runway. Between the halls are lower wings to accommodate the small rooms attached to the production areas (office, storage, test rooms, etc.). The 2-storey social and administration wing is located in front of the middle hall as the head of the facility; its upper floor is a vaulted metal box that references the company products, towers above and marks the main entrance. Functional and production processes are clearly organized from the delivery of raw materials through various processing stages from coarse to fine to packaging and delivery, individual operating processes are clearly separated (3 hall segments), thus reducing the required operating space by over 10%. The appearance of the entire facility is characterized by a solid, blue-painted concrete base, the aluminium-coloured metal surfaces of the façades and sun protection elements, the roofs separated by circumferential light strips and the striking metal box of the administration wing with curved sun protection elements and blue company logo.
